Walked up onto the end of an eruption of Rift. Water was still steaming away along the whole runoff channel. A little over an hour later there was a Turban Delay eruption interval.

During that Delay, Castle erupted with a minor eruption lasting less than three minutes. Finally five Turban eruption intervals later, right after eruptions of Daisy and Oblong. The One Burst Eruption lasted just over eleven minutes. Vent & Turban quit and restarted less than six minutes later.

2025-Aug-22 : 08:15:26 D5/T1Q

08:15:01 Turban -0m25s
08:15:04 Vent Ovfl -0m22s
08:15:26 B1 --- d=11m01s
08:17:22 Vent 1m56s
08:26:27 P1 11m01s
08:27:33 V&T Quit 12m07s
08:33:30 V&T Restart 18m04s

          ΣD=11m01s
* * * * *
05:41:39   d=03m30s
05:58:45 Int: 17m06s d=03m31s
06:17:14 Int: 18m29s d=03m25s
06:48:15 Int: 31m01s d=03m38s  D0
07:05:14 Int: 16m59s d=03m27s  D1
07:21:35 Int: 16m21s d=03m25s  D2
07:36:50 Int: 15m15s d=03m14s  D3
07:52:48 Int: 15m58s d=03m13s  D4
       Turban: 22m13s

Went over to Geyser Hill to get a video of Slot Geyser erupting. After that success, waited a bit for the call for Beehive's Indicator to start erupting. Considered waiting near Plume for the possiblities for rainbows, but despite the dead calm, decided not to risk that location. A good move, as about halfway through the Beehive eruption that area got rained upon.

Did another wait for Grand's first overflow. Once again, that occurred nearly five hours after the previous eruption, and again during a Turban Delay eruption interval. This time the overflow came early in the interval, and by the twenty-five minute mark Grand's pool looked full, as it does before an eruption. Then it quickly dropped before Turban finally erupted for a 32 minute interval.

Grand 1st Ovfl_2025-Aug-22_1219
---------------
2025-Aug-22
12:15      Start Observations                    Other Event
12:22:55   >>>Eruption : d=05m04s                     Turban
12:40:49   >>>Eruption : d=04m04s                     Turban
12:58:10   >>>Eruption : d=03m53s                     Turban
13:02:03   End eruption                               Turban
13:09:13   1st ovfl                                    Grand
13:26:21   >>>Eruption                                 Daisy
13:30:01   >>>Eruption : d=05m13s                     Turban
13:35:14   End eruption                               Turban
13:36:47 Water ring visible West Triplet
13:37:22   End Observations                      Other Event

Since this was the non-Rift interval for Grand, went out a little early. There were a few unintersting Turban eruptions where the intervals got progessively shorter. Finally an interval under 17 minutes that had an explosive start by Turban. Grand took its time getting the One Burst Eruption started. As I've noticed with several other eruptions this trip, the pause before Vent & Turban restart was around six minutes. In the last few years, that has tended to be longer, well over 20 minutes long.

2025-Aug-22 : 17:29:52 T1Q

17:28:43 Turban -1m09s
17:29:00 Vent Ovfl -0m52s
17:29:46 Boop -0m06s
17:29:52 B1 --- d=11m00s
17:32:04 Vent 2m12s
17:40:52 P1 11m00s
17:41:54 V&T Quit 12m02s
17:47:52 V&T Restart 18m00s

          ΣD=11m00s
* * * * *
16:17:20   d=03m55s
16:36:07 Int: 18m47s d=04m09s
16:54:29 Int: 18m22s d=03m40s
17:12:26 Int: 17m57s d=03m41s
17:37:59 West Triplet
       Turban: 16m17s

Went out in the dark to Grand near the nine hour mark.
