With a moon approaching full and clear skies, made the decision to go out for one last Grand eruption. Arrived to the start of an eruption of West Triplet, which fortunately did not result in an eruption of Rift. Then it was just a matter of waiting out the series of Turban eruptions before the next West Triplet eruption became possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grand tried to have a Turban Delay interval, with water starting to pour out at around 22 minutes, but it finally erupted twelve seconds short of the Delay interval cutoff. By then it had been calm for so long that the water column was shrouded in steam, and hard to see, even with the low moon. Bright light made observation even worse. But just enough breeze came up to push out the steam at the north, so the second burst was visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
