A much nicer day than yesterday, although did have to wait about an hour in the morning for the last of the showers to end. Out at Grand it quickly went from cool to calm, sunny, warm and humid.
Before going to Grand, I was able to catch a short Castle minor eruption. Grand had a nice steamy backlit two burst eruption where the pool actually held water for about ten seconds after that second burst. Once again Grand erupted at the first opportunity after the six hour mark, so I expect until the next Rift eruption to be out there on the short side of the interval.

And of course, before completely packed up from the Grand eruption there is the radio call for Beehive's Indicator starting. Instead of treking to Geyser Hill, I decided to watch from Sawmill, which was in eruption.
There were still showers in the forecast when it was time to head out to Grand, but no rain right then. A hour later we got heavy winds, heavy rain and raisin sized hail between two Turban eruptions, and then another shower as Grand erupted.
The leadup to the Grand eruption was different. Right after the hailstorm there was a short Turban eruption interval, followed by an extremely short Turban eruption duration of just over 2-1/2 minutes. Then the Turban intervals got even shorter. Grand's pool was full within ten minutes, and the overflow could be heard as soon as eleven minutes after the Turban eruption.
Three Turban eruption intervals later Grand's pool was full and it slowly over the span of about five minutes built into waves and then some boops. It was so humid and steamy that I could not see any of the side activity. But the first burst ended after only 7-1/4 minutes. The pause was short, but the second burst ended up lasting about 2-3/4 minutes. After the first 50 seconds, it appeared as if the burst was going to end, and that was when we went into Big Sawmill mode for the rest of the eruption,
