Last night I was expecting to be able to sleep in and head out late to Grand. Instead, it erupted just after midnight, so I went out into the dark, cold, and damp about six hours later. It got lighter, but breezy and gray and still cold.
Arrived in time to catch the start of West Triplet, and then the full interval leading up to a Turban Delay Interval. Fortunately, West Triplet ended without Rift starting, and the delay was only for three Turban eruption intervals.
The One Burst Grand was interesting only because it lasted for nearly eleven minutes, and Vent & Turban did not quit. At first I thought they had, then there was a resurgence from both geysers. Vent went into a loud roaring phase. I stuck around a little bit on the very off chance this could lead to an afterburst, but over the next few minutes Grand never showed any splashing.

In the afternoon, Grand waited for West Triplet to erupt. Kept us waiting through almost three hours of uninspired Turban eruptions. Over that time the Turban eruption intervals got shorter, until finally we got an early fill where the pool didn't drop. The lighting was nice, although the sun was low enough that rainbows were only visible when Grand and Vent were at their peaks.
The expected West Triplet eruption started during Grand's One Burst Eruption.
